U probably gonna think this is bs or something but whatever, I’ll tell u all the same:

My law teacher, who is probably the coolest lawyer I’ve ever seen in my life, is married and had a little boy two weeks ago and he brought him over today to the school to show him around. Everyone was super excited because baby!!! and because they didn’t want to find out about the gender until the bb was born so they had made a bet: if it was a girl, my teacher would name it and if it was a boy, his wife would get to name it.

So, when he arrives, with the bb and his wife, everyone is looking at the baby and I asked them what name they chose for the baby and she (his wife) turns to me and answers: Otabek and I’m like.. that’s a cool name, definitely not something you’ll hear everyday. And, as a way to make small talk, I comment: there’s an anime character on Yuri on Ice named Otabek. And I kid you not, both my teacher (who look like he wanted to die) and his wife turn to me and say I know at the same time. So, apparently, my teacher’s wife is so in love with Otabek from YOI that she named her firstborn child after him.
