Whatever you do, do not think about the fact that Yuuri and Victor would have absolutely had to practice for that gala ice dancing routine. Don’t think about the moment the finished costumes arrived and Yuuri came out in his, smoothing it down…a blushing mess. Don’t think about that star struck look on Victor’s face, eyes misty and sparkling, seeing the love of his life, his fiancé, wearing a pair costume for that routine…Victor’s desperate plea for love.
Don’t think about how happy it made them both feel to be wrapped in each other’s arms over and over again on the ice, while they mapped out their choreography. Don’t think about them constantly messing up in rehearsal because they were too busy staring at the beauty of their partner.
And definitely, definitely don’t think about them getting so caught up by the intimacy and closeness that they keep having to stop in the middle of the rink from stealing lingering kisses and giggling like the gross, in love idiots that they are.
So here is my finished version. I wanted to illustrate marine luminescence and since it glows the brightest when it gets in contact with something, I just threw Yuuri and Victor right into the sea and let them have some… quality time at the beach °v° It was an honour to participate in this zine with all the wonderful contributors and mods, everyone did their job so well and the results were really high quality! And we managed to raise a dizzy-making amount of earnings to donate to the Coral Reef Alliance! ToT (they even liked one of our posts on twitter OMG please don’t let them see the dicks)
