To be in the top 10% globally you need to have the equivalent of a net worth of 68k$ in u.s. dollars. The average American household carries $137,063 in debt, according to the Federal Reserve’s latest numbers. And I’m sure, given that most tumblr users are under 65, we probably have even less net worth than that since most wealthy people in the u.s. are over 65. And even then, I doubt that anyone with 68k$ in net worth spends any time on tumblr reblogging anti capitalism posts.
