“Tony is going to hate Shuri because she’s more intelligent than him” “Tony is going to be offended” “Bla bla bla”
Bullshit. Tony is a futurist who loves science and new discoveries and I’m damn sure that he’s going to adore Shuri the same way he did with Bruce when they first met in The Avengers.
“Black Panther” offers a refreshing reprieve from the misogynistic media with which we are regularly bombarded by showcasing empowered womenthat are inspiring because of their contributions to their country and the way they show up in their own lives.
He knows enough science to keep up with them. Maybe he doesn’t get it completely cause their brains are working a billion miles an hour and they’re tossing in memes and movie references that go right over his head, but if they get stuck, he either helps them puzzle it out, or he decides they need a Pop-Tart break.
He’s always down for game time, and he’s not afraid to kick teenage butt. Though MJ and Shuri normally end up winning, more than happy to team up against the boys.
And if one of them is having a bad day? He’s actually pretty good at pep talks, even when he ends up delivering them a little ridiculously just to make them smile.
(Sometimes Loki comes to “help” out. The teens end up teaching him how to roast Thor the meme way. No one is safe from them ever again.)
