The bite of pancake is delightfully buttery, with a tang from the cheese curds. Yuuri isn’t sure what his expression is like, but Victor’s smile brightens, and his phone goes up.

That photo’s going to end up on Instagram in less than a minute. Yuuri ducks, and when Victor whips his phone to follow, Yuuri grabs Victor’s elbow and drags him over so they’re both caught in the shot. Let’s appreciate that in this official art, Yuri and Otabek are seen to be sharing red headphones. The red “string” goes from each of their pinky fingers. Sound familiar? This won’t be a coincidence. Yuri and Otabek are being portrayed as very important to each other, whether that is platonic or romantic is not officially confirmed. But their relationship is very significant and needs more appreciation.
